the UK suffer from a serious visual impairment – more than 22,000 of
them are children
There are limited opportunities for visually impaired people to
play sport – opportunities that sighted people often take for granted.
British Blind Sport is the only charity established and run by
blind people to enable them to participate in sports at competitive
and
recreational levels.
